The salsa is officially back in New York.
On September 11th, Victor Cruz played his first regular season football game after 700 days. Cruz suffered a torn patella tendon back in 2014, which held him out for almost two seasons. But Cruz had a huge comeback last month, scoring the game-winning touchdown with 6:13 left in the game. After the touchdown, celebration soon followed, which consisted of Victor Cruz doing his iconic salsa dance, and fellow wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. down on one knee pretending to take photographs of him.
“Doing the dance– it’s in the blood, so it doesn’t go anywhere,” Cruz said in his postgame conference. Victor Cruz will continue to look to contribute to the New York Giants as the chase their fifth Super Bowl.
